PROJECT - KIEV WOMEN'S SHELTER
Investment: $5,000.00
In 2007 Hillsong Church celebrated its 20th year in Sydney Australia, and that year Greg Zwajgenberg attended the Hillsong Men's Conference and was moved in the Spirit by an outreach to plant a Women's Shelter in Kiev to provide assistance for pregnancy through violence and rape against women, donating $5000.00 towards the project.
Hillsong at that time was growing its global reach as the largest church in Australia's history, regularly attracting 20,000 people to its weekend services. GOD TV, a Christian satellite channel, broadcasts many Hillsong events, boosting its potential audience to 400 million worldwide.
A member of the Assemblies of God denomination, Hillsong has burgeoning church plants in London, Paris, and Kiev, Ukraine. It has also been holding services in Moscow and Berlin.
Hillsong is best known for its music, its famous Worship Pastor, Darlene Zschech, wrote the song "Shout to the Lord." It is estimated that 25 million Christians across the world sing the song each week.
JOHN 14:6..."True worship is directed through Jesus. Keeping our worship narrow is important because we must worship “in truth,” and the truth is narrow"
PROJECT - CANCER FUNDRAISER
Investment: $2,000.00
In 2008 the Cooma Hospital held their Annual Cancer Fundraiser, Greg and Teija Zwajgenberg donated $2000.00 at the events Charity Auction for a local artists pencil sketch impression of the Monaro Grasslands, in support of funding increased regional oncologies services.
This is in keping with Teijas heart on helping people with cancer, and synonymous with Teija's work on children with cancer, funding and producing a comprehensive guide to help parents navigate the pain of what was happening to their child in conjunction with the ACT Cancer Society
Teija did her Post Graduate Studies in Oncology and devoted her life to being an Oncology Nurse, when she had overcome her physical injures from a severe car accident where she was told she would never work again, and compounded with chronic fatigue.
Greg Zwajgenberg "Teija has an awesome heart for God, and is a devout spirit filled Christian, a true living reminder of 'Faith At Work'."
PSALM 41:3..."The Lord will sustain him upon his sickbed; In his illness, You restore him to health"
PROJECT - BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE FUNDRAISER
Investment: $8,498.79+
In 2022 Sarah Zwajgenberg became a NSW Finalist Miss World Australia, and through the competitions "Beauty with a Purpose initiative" as a personal goal, set a fundraising target of $10,000 for Variety Children's Charity.
Variety exists to secure funds for vital medical equipment and services for "disadvantaged and vulnerable" children in the community who are sick or living with a disability. Such an awesome cause for one of our IF Team, supporting the brilliant work Variety do in the life of "disadvantaged and vulnerable" children in the community.
Greg Zwajgenberg "We are so proud of our Sarah. In addition to her USYD Team winning the 2022 World Title in Aerospace rocketry, her entry into Modelling and World debut on the front cover of "Off Town" International Fashion magazine, Sarah achieved a significant result in seeking to reach her first $10,000 goal for Variety.

PROJECT - 100 BIBLES FOR PRISONERS IN NSW JAILS
INVESTMENT: $1,500.00
In Australia, there are currently more than 40,000 prisoners in custody. While these people are incarcerated, there is a unique opportunity to reach them with the Good News of the Bible and God’s Word. During February and March 2023, Bible League’s Bringing Hope Behind Bars Campaign is going to partner with 20 Christian radio stations across Australia. With this partnership, we aim to meet an initial goal of 4,000 Bibles. Each year the total need in Australian prisons is between 6,000 and 8,500 Bibles. We are proud to be a small part of this truly spirit filled initiative to bring light and joy to those who have made mistakes in their life, and who need to know they are forgiven fully by God's Grace if they follow Jesus with their heart, mind and soul, and acknowledging him as their Lord and Saviour.
PROJECT - 100 BIBLES FOR PRISONERS IN NSW JAILS
"Bible League Ministry in Australia initiated a project to provide low cost, quality biblical resources for prisoners. By providing Bibles, biblical resources, language translations and training, in partnership with sponsors, this Ministry is transforming the lives of prisoners by helping them engage with God’s Word, and in ways they understand, so they come to know Jesus. This Mission Field resonates with Teija Zwajgenberg personally"
