From the age of 8 through to his tragic murder in 2003, "David Katongole" was sponsored by Greg and Teija Zwajgenberg and provided with health care, meals, uniforms, all required books, study material and supporting supplies for his Junior and High-School education. Sadly both David's parents had died of aids when he was young, and he was living with his Uncle. He was an above average student and enjoyed Maths
He has a love of God, and loved playing team sports. One of our favourite Godly Wisdom comments that David made in his letters when he was growing up was:
"...Share with me, ROMANS Verse 31, Chapter 8 8:31 in that Scripture I learn that I will not fear because Jesus is on my side"
